Greg Costikyans
An interesting point made by Greg Costikyan is that every game in itself is essentially a puzzle, whether it be a fps game or even just a typical crossword puzzle, they all involve some form of puzzle solving attributes. Although some people may not acknowledge them as pure puzzles they are in many terms elements of puzzles. I feel that this point made is somewhat true in the genre of computer games or in any games. He also makes a point in that every game involves puzzles by saying 'you can't extract puzzle from the game entirely', I strongly agree with statement due to the fact I can't think of one game that used some form of puzzle solving element.
